PTO GRANT APPLICATION

The Westport Middle-High School PTO's mission is to help support the efforts of the staff and students at the Westport Middle-High School through our fundraising efforts.  Annually, we earmark a portion of our budget to fund these grant requests.  

 

Each year the PTO will accept requests from teachers, advisors, clubs, students and or parents to help fund small projects, supplies, field trips, and transportation to field trips, and assemblies with a funding limit up to a $500.00.   We strive to make our allotments fair and equitable, we look to support field trip transportation for each grade level annually.  The stipulation is that the funding request must directly benefit members of the Westport Middle-High School Community.  
Funding requests will be reviewed and voted on monthly at our next regularly scheduled PTO meeting

Application Criteria:

  • Requests must be submitted in writing

  • Requests must have admin approval/review prior to being submitted

  • Requests must be submitted with a minimum of 60 days prior to funding.  

  • Requests will be reviewed at the next regularly scheduled meeting.

 

The submitting party or a representative of the submitting group must attend the PTO meeting following the grant submission to personally present their request and answer specific questions related to the funding request. In this way we can better understand and make an informed decision on funding approval.
